The variables of psychological tenacity, self-control, are among the topics that have always been the focus of many psychiatrists and psychologists. Objective: In the current research, the simple and multiple relationship between psychological toughness and self-control was examined. Method: The primary teachers of Yasouj city formed the statistical population of this research, from among them (93 people, 50 women and 43 men) were selected by stratified random method. The data were collected with the help of Kiamarthi, Najarian, and Mehrabizadeh Artman (1377) scale of Tanji (2004) psychological toughness scale. The conclusion of the findings showed that there is a significant difference in the psychological toughness and self-control of male and female primary teachers. Multivariate regression analysis showed that psychological toughness and self-control have a significant multiple correlation, and among the two predictor variables, only psychological toughness variable significantly explained and predicted the variance of self-control.
