is an important event in the history of the Islamic East, and its importance is such that many consider the "history of Islam" in its general and common sense until this time, that is, the year of the fall of Baghdad. The infiltration of all kinds of corruption, from gambling and drinking to sexual corruption, to the caliph and his entourage added to the causes that prepared the caliphate system to collapse from within. When the caliphate was faced with the heavy invasion of the Mongols in the direction of opening up the world, it had no other destiny than extinction. Ignorance or inattention to the decisions of the Mongols to open up the world and the depletion of the Abbasid caliphate from the necessary authority over the course of several centuries deprived Ibn Taymiyyah and his followers from a proper analysis of the extinction of the caliphate after a few decades of the incident. Corruption and political disorder is another important factor in the downfall of the Abbasids; Because in this period, the first Abbasid, who was chosen by most of the statesmen and officials from among the competent and worthy individuals and families such as Abu Salma, Abu Muslim, the Barmak family and the Sahl family, from the middle of the third century of Hijri, following the seizure of the custody system by the Turks, held important government positions. was occupied by an incompetent group, most of whom instead of supporting the caliphate, became a danger and a threat to it, and because the government's financial resources were not enough to cover the large expenses of the caliphate's luxury gatherings Therefore, those who were the custodians of these pistachios were sensitive, except for looting people's property and accumulating wealth to compensate for what they paid as bribes. Therefore, industry and agriculture suffered from weakness and disorder, commerce and trade were disrupted, the workforce was reduced, and many properties were in ruins. Institutions, poverty, hunger, unemployment, and misery were increasing every day. This research examines political corruption and its role in the demise of the Abbasid Caliphate
