The purpose of this research was to investigate the popularity of teachers among elementary school students and its role on their academic progress in Yasouj city. In terms of the purpose, the present research is an applied research; In terms of data and information collection and analysis method, it is a descriptive research and in terms of implementation, it is a survey type. The statistical population of the current research also includes all the elementary school students of Yasouj city, whose number was equal to 4000. Among these, 348 students were selected as the research sample by simple random sampling method, and a researcher-made questionnaire was used in order to study the objectives of this research. The content validity of this questionnaire has been confirmed by Khabar Regan in this field and its reliability was also confirmed with the help of Cronbach's alpha test. At the end, the results of the research questionnaire were analyzed with the help of t-test and linear regression. The results showed that the level of popularity of teachers and academic progress among elementary school students in Yasouj city is at a favorable level (p<0.01). Also, the results showed that there is a significant relationship between the popularity of teachers and the academic progress of elementary school students in Yasouj city (p<0.01).
