The purpose of this research is to investigate the opinions of high school students in Yasouj city about environmental protection. The method of work is in the field and the information has been collected through a questionnaire from 121 high school students in Yasouj city. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose reliability coefficient was estimated at 0.85. Data analysis was done using statistical and variable tests and through SPSS software. The findings of the research showed that the students were interested in the issues related to environmental protection and considered environmental protection as one of their duties and had acceptable information and awareness regarding the issues and problems related to its protection. In order to achieve a sustainable development, i.e. balanced development and preserving environmental values, one should think about the bio-cultural evolution of societies so that the people who make up the societies adapt their behavior to the stability and dynamics of nature, because the occurrence of environmental crises and the destruction and imposition of natural resources along with the increase Population has caused humans to try harder to prevent the destruction of their environment. Finally, the results of the statistical tests showed that, except for the variables of the desire to create environmental formations, the amount of visits to parks and green spaces, students' visits to environmentally friendly centers, the use of environmental education and science, and the use of educational films in the field of the environment, Between all the research variables, including the amount of environmental educational content in the textbook, the attitude towards environmental protection, the amount and, of course, the environment, whether school libraries are equipped with scientific resources, the use of environmental magazines and publications, the amount of visits by environmental experts to Schools, participating in voluntary environmental activities, informing teachers about environmental protection have a direct and significant relationship with students' views on environmental protection.
