Delinquency is defined in different ways. It seems that the most complete definition given according to the opinions of experts in various fields is that delinquency is an act that is against the standards, regulations and laws of the society, and its execution causes legal prosecution. and those who commit such acts are called criminals or delinquents. The increase in delinquency in various dimensions among teenagers and young people has attracted the attention of humanities experts. In this article, the problem of delinquency among the youth population has been investigated. If the family is explored as the first environment in which a person grows and develops, factors such as parent-parent discord, discrimination between children, lack of affection, father's absence at home, delinquency of a family member , not having a suitable behavior model, lack of understanding of children, etc. can play an effective role in children's delinquency. In addition, other factors such as economic issues, lack of proper education, employment and factors related to it, such as unemployment and job dissatisfaction, and finally the weakness of religious beliefs have been considered in this field. Finally, suggestions have been made to prevent the delinquency of teenagers and young people.
