Raising the level of public awareness of the residents of a city regarding the rights and laws of the city is one of the important factors that must be paid attention to in order to reach a sustainable and desirable city. The awareness of the citizens makes them reach the right that the society considers for them. City rules and regulations can be considered as one of the most important points of connection between city management and citizens. In a better way, the actors of the main elements of urban management in the light of city rules and regulations, while defining roles for themselves and other members, can involve citizens in the administration of affairs. In this research, the aim is to know the level of awareness of the residents of Chabahar city regarding the city's rights and laws, and based on the research data, the level of awareness among the residents of the city was described. The research method is descriptive-analytical. The statistical sample size was estimated to be 382 people using Cochran's formula. Out of the 382 distributed questionnaires, 82 questionnaires were discarded due to the distorted information and the analysis was performed on 300 questionnaires. The tool for collecting field data was a researcher-made questionnaire, which was mainly designed with 21 items. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured by calculating Cronbach's alpha and calculating the combined reliability coefficient (cr). Also, according to the results of the research, the level of awareness of city laws and laws among the citizens of Chabahar is at a low level.
