Green management in sports infrastructures, as a new and necessary approach in the sports industry, plays a key role in protecting the environment and promoting environmental sustainability. This article aims to investigate green management solutions in the design, construction, and operation of sports venues to minimize the environmental impacts of these infrastructures. The research method is based on qualitative analysis and review of scientific sources, official reports of international sports organizations, and case studies of green-designed sports venues. Successful global examples such as the Allianz Arena in Germany and the Lusail Stadium in Qatar are analyzed to identify practical solutions. The findings show that the use of recycled materials, the use of renewable energy, optimal water and waste management, smart design, and sustainable transportation systems can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of sports venues. However, challenges such as high initial costs, lack of awareness and training among sports managers, and lack of globally unified standards still hinder the widespread implementation of these approaches. This paper suggests that green management can be institutionalized in sports infrastructure by formulating binding policies, providing financial incentives, strengthening cooperation between sports organizations, governments, and the private sector, and educating stakeholders. Finally, this research emphasizes the need to integrate sustainability principles into all stages of the life cycle of sports venues and provides a comprehensive framework for environmental protection in this area.
