Abstract
The water resources crisis in Iran, as one of the country's fundamental challenges, has multiple legal, social, economic, and environmental dimensions. This crisis is caused by climate change, inefficient management of water resources, and increasing demand for water due to population growth and industrial development. In legal dimensions, the lack of effective laws and the failure to properly implement regulations hinder the sustainable management of water resources. Socially, inequality in access to water and its consequences on the quality of life of local communities are significant. In economic terms, water scarcity has led to reduced agricultural production and increased costs, and ultimately, the environmental impacts of this crisis include drought, reduced groundwater levels, and destruction of ecosystems. In order to address these challenges, it is necessary to consider executive solutions including legal reforms, the use of modern irrigation technologies, and international cooperation. This article comprehensively analyzes these dimensions and provides solutions for sustainable management of water resources in Iran.
