The effect of using educational games on increasing learning of elementary school students in Dena city

Abstract

One of the new methods of education is the use of educational games in teaching. In this method, all students with any type of culture, level, intelligence, and individual differences engage in it directly and with interest. By playing games, students can be taught educational and educational materials indirectly and practically. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of using educational games on increasing the learning of elementary school students in Dena County. The research method was examined using library resources. The result showed that one of the enjoyable and constructive activities for students is playing games, to which they dedicate a lot of their lives. In games, due to internal motivation, students have high participation and play an active role and are involved in it with all their senses. In this case, the interaction between the student and the teacher has a significant impact on the quality of learning. It is one of the most effective and best ways to teach children. Learning through play has several advantages. Since students love playing and are also involved in their playing situation, and playing presents complex life situations and educational problem concepts in a simple way, they do not become lethargic and as a result, they learn concepts easily.
