Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate anthropology from the perspective of the Qur'an and Western humanism. The current research method is descriptive-analytical and its materials are collected by library method. The humanist philosophy that I think with the Cartesian principle in the 16th century became a special way of thinking and considered man as the only basis of knowledge in its path: in the two aspects of "rational self and empirical religion" in Hume, it led to a contradiction if he not only the material world Rather, he denied the human ego, which was the center of knowledge. After Hume, Kant tried to revive his "I" once again with the Copernican revolution, but Duraxim's annoying "noumen" and "phenomenon" and the lack of access to the truths of things forced his followers to establish the unity between "noumen" and "phenomenon". They proposed solutions while being loyal to Kant's subjectivism. Anthropology is the science of human beings and emotional states in terms of general and partial, individual and social affairs, theoretical and practical sciences. Accordingly, the science of anthropology includes very wide fields of sciences and schools of thought. Therefore, the roots of anthropology should be sought in human sciences, art, experimental sciences and social science schools. With the advent of Islam and revelation teachings, the Qur'an as the most important source opened new horizons about human knowledge. By directing the sciences and knowledge involved in the education and guidance of human beings, the Quran believes that in addition to the body and physicality, man also benefits from the soul and spirituality, and basically the truth of man is the soul. In this way, the Qur'an emphasizes that man knows himself and recognizes his place in the world, and the goal is to bring man to the high position he deserves. This article has tried to compare anthropology from the perspective of the Qur'an and Western humanism and the challenges it faces.
